Born and raised in North Carolina, I graduated from High Point Central High School in High Point, NC before attending Hollins University in Roanoke, VA. After graduation, I moved back to the High Point area and settled in Greensboro, NC. I held positions in marketing and advertising before choosing riding as my vocation. In pursuit of a career in equestrian sports, I have lived in 10 states and have spent the majority of my time riding and training in Wellington, FL.
After being diagnosed with Lupus (SLE) and Fibromyalgia in 2007, by 2011 it was apparent that, at that time in my life, a professional riding career was no longer in the cards. Calling upon my educational and professional background, I started Vogue Management Services (2012-2014), a business development and marketing firm that specialized in online marketing and crisis management. A few months after that, I started the Chronic Illness Relief Fund (2012-2015), which is an organization that helps chronically ill patients live a higher quality of life by covering cost of living expenses.
After closing my third venture, Sprouted Magazine, in January of 2016, I decided to re-start my equestrian career. I have produced WEF champions and have trained successful hunters and jumpers since 2006. I made Wellington, Fl my permanent home in August of 2016. I spent the majority of 2018 traveling through Europe, starting in Belgium working as a rider for Harrie Smolders and Jos Verlooy at EuroHorse. After that position ended, I found myself making the most of my time in Europe by living in Berlin, Germany. After my return from Berlin, I decided to embrace my love of the South Florida weather and the sea by moving to the beach.
I am currently living in Wellington, FL with my daughter and our dog, Bella. I am a seasoned marketing professional with experience spanning many industries with both B2B and B2C knowledge. I'm also offering affordable photography services, I am a public speaker, have a passion for business development, and am a licensed real estate agent.
